Easy DIY Fall Smoothies

Fall is all about those heavenly warming spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger as well as detoxifying cruciferous veggies and anti-inflammatory fruits. It’s a perfect time to put some of those ingredients together in a delicious, nutritious smoothie like these.

Cinnamon-Apple Smoothie

Blend together the following until smooth:

  • 1 organic apple, cored and peeled
  • ½ cup organic almond milk
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ organic banana
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon raw, organic honey
  • 1 cup ice

Carrot Cake Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons organic raisins
  • 1 cup organic, unsweetened almond milk or organic coconut milk
  • 1 cup peeled, chopped organic carrot
  • 1 organic banana, frozen
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup fresh, organic spinach leaves

In a small bowl, soak raisins 5 minutes in hot water to soften, which helps them to blend better. Place all ingredients in your blender and blend until smooth.

Cranberry-Pear Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen, organic cranberries (fresh can be used but you’ll need to add ice)
  • 2 organic medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 organic pear
  • 1 cup organic coconut milk or unsweetened organic almond milk
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon allspice

Toss all ingredients into your blender and mix until smooth.

Pumpkin smoothiePumpkin-Gingerbread Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup organic, unsweetened almond milk or organic coconut milk
  • ¼ cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • ½ cup organic pureed pumpkin
  • 1 tablespoon organic blackstrap molasses
  • 1 small organic banana, frozen
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon fresh, grated gingerroot
  • Pinch nutmeg

Soak the oats, milk and chia seeds for at least an hour or overnight. Place all ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth.
