Trump Demands Netanyahu Ensure Food Reaches Gaza’s Children: “We Have to Get the Kids Fed”

Donald Trump made it clear Monday that the United States will not stand by as images of starving children in Gaza shock the world. Speaking in Scotland, Trump called on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to “make sure they get the food,” showing once again his signature blend of strength and compassion in foreign policy.

“We’re sending money, we’re sending food,” Trump said. “But Netanyahu has got to run it. I want him to make sure they get the food.” His remarks came after heartbreaking images revealed the growing humanitarian crisis, prompting Trump to shift from cautious commentary to decisive action.

Unlike the Biden administration’s hollow statements, Trump’s approach puts accountability on the ground while protecting Israel’s security. He announced plans for U.S.-backed food centers in Gaza, stating, “Before we do anything, we have to help on a humanitarian basis. We have to get the kids fed.”

While Trump reaffirmed his stance on eliminating Hamas—calling the terrorist group “animals who steal aid meant for their own people”—he also underscored Israel’s responsibility in ensuring that innocent civilians don’t pay the price of war. “Israel can do a lot,” Trump said, balancing his unwavering support for America’s ally with a demand for immediate action.

Vice President JD Vance echoed Trump’s statement, saying, “Israel’s got to do more to let that aid in, and we’ve also got to wage war on Hamas.”

Once again, Trump positioned himself as the only leader willing to confront both the humanitarian emergency and the terror threat head-on. His message was simple and powerful: protect Israel, crush Hamas, but never forget the children. “We have to get the kids fed,” Trump repeated. “That comes first.”
