Eating a healthy breakfast is a great way to reduce overall inflammation in the body, boost immunity and give you the fuel that you need for all-day energy.

Why should you worry about inflammation?

When you fall and break your ankle, inflammation is a good thing. This kind of inflammation, known as acute inflammation, is the body’s way of sending all that is needed to start the healing process.

Sadly, millions of Americans are suffering from chronic inflammation which puts the body in a constant state of excitement and eventually leads to a host of very serious conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer and more. The worst part about chronic inflammation is that it is silent, creeping up on you and hitting you over the head with a very serious condition before you know it.

What causes chronic inflammation?

The biggest exacerbator of chronic inflammation is the Standard American Diet (SAD), which is truly sad. Diets loaded with processed foods, unhealthy oils, fillers, sugar and other refined ingredients contribute to a constant state of inflammation in the body.
